Gardnertown Polo starts its 3rd decade of Polo on October 19th!

The Gardnertown Polo Club continues its tradition of exciting leagues and competition in addition to club chukkars by offering arena polo less than 60 miles from New York City. Club Chukkars are scheduled each Wednesday from October through April starting at 6:30pm and Saturdays or Sundays at 10:30am with league matches scheduled throughout the season. All chukkars are umpired with instruction given to new and experienced players alike. Private & group lessons are available by appointment.

On April 17th GPC hosted the 11th Annual Friends of Karen Charity Polo Match raising nearly $30,000 for this wonderful charity that works to ensure the financial and emotional well-being of families coping with the extraordinary demands of their children's life-threatening illnesses. Founded in 1978 by Sheila Peterson, Friends of Karen serves the tri-state metro New York area supporting the children and their families with compassionate care not normally offered in local hospitals. The match is played in memory of Peter Eric Huyler who died of leukemia at the age of 2 in 1994. To donate online go to www.friendsofkaren.org.
